printing - how to setup wps on xerox phaser 3020? - Ask Ubuntu


so have new xerox phaser 3020. told supports linux.

indeed - connecting laptop usb works charm. able print.

however, printer wireless. can't seem able setup wireless configuration.

i got disc, disc has software mac/windows. how do same ubuntu?

unfortunately couldn't find related, faced same problem , found awkward solution (but works). can configure using virtuabox usb 2.0 driver + windows 7 image. here how:

  1. install virtualbox synaptic.
  2. download virtualbox extension pack here, you'll need install older version ubuntu. find here , here installation instructions.
  3. now it's funny part, have few old virtualbox windowses development, legal , freely available microsoft here.
  4. i used windows 7 version , works, enable usb 2.0 , add device connected host machine, need add user vboxusers group. don't forget reboot afterwards.
  5. having set may configure usb 2.0 virtualbox device , add printer. made small screenshot how it:

  1. install xerox drivers , configure wifi network printer.
  2. assign static ip printer on router, remove whole s**t above , enjoy wifi printer linux network.

this howto works cheap wifi printer devoid of ui , networking intended setup windows :)

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
