Uninstalling 'screenkey' program that doesn't appear in Software Center or Synaptic? (16.04) - Ask Ubuntu


i installed utility called "screenkey" ubuntu software center, can't seem uninstall it. runs , icon appears in launcher, neither software center nor synaptic think it's installed — display "install" button instead of "remove". tried sudo apt-get remove screenkey, apt-get says "package 'screenkey' not installed".

what now? thanks.

in end, seeing phantom unity launcher icon. screenkey software had, indeed, been uninstalled. ran locate .desktop | grep screenkey locate launcher shortcut definition screenkey , deleted file.

drivers - No wi-fi network after install - Ask Ubuntu

i installed ubuntu 16:10 on xiaomi air 13 "uncommon device know" i'm not able see wifi connection. problem occurred right after install, since before "during try ubuntu , installation" able see , connect w/out problem. if go settings -> network i'm not able turn on wifi "it switch off turn on". nothing in software , update -> more driver. what should ? :c edit:i able fix metod here wi-fi drivers laptop xiaomi air 13 but can't find programm/app on ubuntu software c. "like geany". problem somehow related fix found ?
