usb - gvfs mount onto Ubuntu desktop of Nexus 4 running Touch doesn't show dot files - Ask Ubuntu


i have 15.04 on nexus 4. have desktop running 16.04.1. when phone plugged desktop via usb, shows in launcher in left , opens nautilus window. window doesn't show hidden (dot) files. when login phone, can see hidden files. want point out phone doesn't mount usb disk; don't see in output of df.

when select "open" operation launcher, opens window same view has path of /run/user/1000/gvfs/mtp:host=%5busb%3a002%2c010%5d/nexus 4. view not show dot files. know path in filesystem, can cd there , still not see dot files.

i want @ sqlite files in phone using viewer installed on desktop. how can dot files (without copying them desktop)?

i think can not see them because useing mtp protocol when connect phone.. that's how is.. can modify file terminal nano. hope help.
