dual boot problem (windows doesn't boot ) - Ask Ubuntu


i installed windows 7 on thinkpad e440 , worked correctly installed ubuntu 16.04 , worked correctly too. switched between them couple of times , ok. after couple of hours ubuntu worked correctly when wanted boot windows, when choose windows loader in grub face ubuntu purple screen , stucks there nothing happens below image . tested win 10 , 7 alongside ubuntu both results same told. had win 8.1 on laptop before starting install ubunto formatted whole disk , replaced zeroes. know how fix ? enter image description here enter image description here

drivers - No wi-fi network after install - Ask Ubuntu

i installed ubuntu 16:10 on xiaomi air 13 "uncommon device know" i'm not able see wifi connection. problem occurred right after install, since before "during try ubuntu , installation" able see , connect w/out problem. if go settings -> network i'm not able turn on wifi "it switch off turn on". nothing in software , update -> more driver. what should ? :c edit:i able fix metod here wi-fi drivers laptop xiaomi air 13 but can't find programm/app on ubuntu software c. "like geany". problem somehow related fix found ?
