How to uninstall Eset NOD32 Antivirus 4 from 16.04? - Ask Ubuntu


i installed eset nod32 antivirus 4 linux on desktop ubuntu 16.04 lts 64-bit. system has slowed crawl , unusable. eset keeps popping asking me activate it; choose trial (i haven't bought yet) , fill out name , email, click activate. either goes away return later asking same question, or freezes while.

my other programs (thunderbird, eg.) operate sluggishly few moments , freeze long periods.

how can uninstall eset monster system? given state it's in? have low level of knowledge can follow directions. thanks!

usually eset nod32 installs uninstaller automatically. search eset in typical "search computer" bar , should point uninstaller. run , voila!
