Microchip's MPLAB-X IDE have wrong fonts and unreadable tabs - Ask Ubuntu


after installing microchip's mplab x ide on recent (16.04 or up) ubuntu linux, have fonts in main interface "wrong": cut, , tabs way small readable:

i tried change fonts, fonts selectable fonts internal panes, , ok. fixable?

yes, can. it's bit hidden though. choose tools -> options on main menu, go appearance tab, look , feel subtab, , choose example "nimbus":

choose non-gtk+ look'n'fell

restart ide (you prompted program it) , voilà:

correctly displayed mplab-x
