14.04 - ubuntu grub boot loader not appear - Ask Ubuntu

i have installed ubuntu 14.04 dual boot windows 10 ubuntu not loaded windows loaded.and ubuntu grub loader not appear on start choose os boot.so how can solve ubuntu grub loader issue ?

installed ubuntu mate 16.04 lts on decade-old desktop. lspci -k shows: 01:00.0 vga compatible controller: nvidia corporation nv18 [geforce4 mx 4000] (rev c1) subsystem: xfx pine group inc. nv18 [geforce4 mx 4000] kernel driver in use: nouveau kernel modules: nvidiafb, nouveau i wonder nvidia-* driver package need install. thought should nvidia-96 , far checked, there no nvidia-96 package available.
