virtualization - Failed to open a session for the virtual machine win-7 - Ask Ubuntu


ubuntu 16.04.1 showing error while running virtual machine:

failed open session virtual machine win-7. virtual machine 'win-7' has terminated unexpectedly during startup exit code 1 (0x1).  result code:  ns_error_failure (0x80004005) component:  machinewrap interface:  imachine {f30138d4-e5ea-4b3a-8858-a059de4c93fd}

shutdown vm's.

  1. go /home/$user/.virtualbox/ folder
  2. find file virtualbox.xml-prev
  3. mv virtualbox.xml virtualbox.xml.bak
  4. mv virtualbox.xml-prev virtualbox.xml

if fails, can reverse rm virtualbox.xml && mv virtualbox.xml.bak virtualbox.xml

try restarting virtualbox

other possible fixes:

  • sudo /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup

or

  • sudo dpkg-reconfigure virtualbox-dkms

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
