networking - The Requested URL Not Found - Ask Ubuntu

edit: i've confirmed webserver's documentroot pointing var/www of crm files are.

just out of way: have been thrown under bus, know don't know ubuntu @ work need issue fixed new client. please, no lecturing.

fast forward...

i have client running ubuntu 16.04 lts. they're running presumably lamp, , crm called suitecrm; however, can't access it. machine it's on.

when try go it: http://localhost/suitecrm

i following error:

not found  requested url /suitecrm not found on server. apache/2.4.18 (ubuntu) server @ localhost port 80 

at first thought maybe lamp services weren't started; however, can go localhost/phpmyadmin.

the files in var/www... has worked until friday.

are there suggestions guys have me try? i'm lost, , i've been @ hours.
