software recommendation - Better application switcher for Budgie desktop - Ask Ubuntu

this question has answer here:

i'm using budgie desktop currently, , enjoy it. it's got battery life, customizability, stability , speed, there's 1 thing bothers me; doesn't have real app switcher. pressing alt + tab switch apps, no dialog appears, , doesn't allow me select app want see; calls them front, on @ time.

because of this, i've been looking third party app switcher that'll show dialog , let me select app switch instead of pulling front. right now, i'm using skippy-xd, exposé-style switcher. it's ok, i'd prefer linear method unity , gnome use.

googling has turned nothing. think i'm not doing correctly.

are there standalone app/task switchers (besides skippy-xd) available ubuntu or linux in general?

please note alt+tab behaviour built budgie-wm itself. intend add graphical switching in budgie 11, in active development.

budgie 12 see deeper window management changes reduce our dependency on gnome.
