scrolling - How to assign commands or keystrokes to the mouse scroll wheel(linux)? - Super User


i have lil' problem new project. i'd find out how set ability change next track in playlist using ongly scroll wheel of standard usb mouse. objective assign keystroke or command both mouse button 4 , mouse button 5 (scroll wheel , scroll wheel down), program rythmbox or vlc skip next or previus song in playlist. :)

http://www.linux.com/archive/feature/59494 found out solution problem. xbindkeys great use. assigned keystroke "b:5 + release "the action "rhythmbox-client --previous " ,now works !
