system installation - can't flash recovery image to Ubuntu phone - Ask Ubuntu
i have aquaris e4.5. following latest update, software went bonkers , stuck ubuntu logo on boot , hang @ point. attempting reflash device (having done multiple times success) receiving error message on doing so:
ubuntu-device-flash touch --channel ubuntu-touch/stable/bq-aquaris.en --bootstrap --recovery-image recovery-krillin.img 2016/10/31 15:51:34 expecting device in bootloader... waiting 2016/10/31 15:51:45 device |krillin| 2016/10/31 15:51:45 flashing version 35 ubuntu-touch/stable/bq-aquaris.en channel , server https://system-image.ubuntu.com device krillin can't flash recovery image
i have no idea how proceed. phone apparently booting fastboot there error message.
so, if nothing helps, try android flash tool. complete reset phone (beside unselect userdata.img keeping apps, settings , userdata).
