windows 7 - Get the parent of a folder from search results - Super User


so searched folder in drive. found drive , selected "open in new window". , want parent folder of one.

but address bar shows search results in d: > new folder. there no "upper" buttons in window, , forward. , alt + arrow goes search results. don't want search results, want parent folder.

how do that?

use "open folder location" rather "open in new window".
