boot - Tried installing Ubuntu w/o CD/USB. Tried Unetbootin and no success on Win10. - Ask Ubuntu
i lack cd-rom , usb-stick, trying find alternative way install ubuntu. did found unebootin. followed instructions on best of ability. after rebooted computer, got screen: http://imgur.com/ubghgbj, expected see; however, got error screen after clicking on unebootin option: http://imgur.com/ov1k4ee.
i have windows 10 asus laptop, , not sure issue is. tried messing booting specs in bios, nothing ended working @ end.
i looked @ similar thread , mentioned legacy boot solve problem?
if have windows , if computer powerful enough, can install virtualbox in windows. in virtualbox can create virtual machine, , can connect ubuntu iso file dvd disk, , boot , run live session 'try ubuntu'.
if looks good, can stop virtual machine , create virtual disk. start virtual machine again , can install ubuntu virtual disk.

alternatives
- maybe can borrow usb stick, , make ubuntu boot drive , install ubuntu internal drive of computer.
- or if have second (maybe old) hard disk drive, can use drive instead of usb stick.
- some computers (but far all) can boot sd card slot, if have sd card, might able make ubuntu boot drive.
- it possible boot via network, not easy.
can together else, interested in trying ubuntu? in case there more options, depending on hardware both of have , can borrow. maybe can find local linux user group or other computer club.
