keyboard - Disabling Alt L from going to the File/Edit/View menu (within TeXstudio) - Ask Ubuntu


i want create various keyboard shortcuts within texstudio, problem left alt key takes me out of text editor , file/edit/view menus (so can navigate around these menus arrow keys). if press alt l again, return text editor. how can disable alt l doing this, can use e.g. alt+a \alpha, , on? thank you.

Windows XP installation, no previous version of Windows NT - Super User
