16.04 - MATLAB: Multiple Instances Install questions - Ask Ubuntu


r2016a on 16.04: need r2016b improvements in 1 of toolboxes. nice have both.

questions:

  1. can 2016a , 2016b co-exist?
  2. what problems created when 2 co-exist on same box \ pc?
  3. is install procedure installing second instance different virgin install?

i forward hearing have experience installing 2 instances on ubuntu. if have experience please state in response. lessons-learned \ pitfalls avoid appreciated. thank you

i have both matlab r2016a , r2016b installed, have experience can share.

  1. yes, both versions can coexist. because installed default /usr/local/matlab/r2016a , /usr/local/matlab/r2016b respectively , therefore don't interfere each other.

  2. no substantial problems created when have both versions. problem can foresee matlab symlink created in /usr/local/bin if select option mentioned in https://www.mathworks.com/help/install/ug/install-mathworks-software.html#bsnin8x-4. symlink link version of matlab last installed, r2016b. means order of installation of these 2 matlab versions matters. can of course add missing symlinks in /usr/local/bin if want.

  3. you install both versions using same procedures.

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
