i wondering if there way have text message sent number (or email) ubuntu computer read, , message act command computer?

an example might this: i'm running late , need work computer have program on meeting when there. send text containing sudo apt-get install program computer, , when arrive downloaded.

direct access terminal via text might not possible or risky, running bash/bin scripts possible?
