grub2 - Dual boot Windows 10 and Ubuntu GNOME, GRUB not loading - Ask Ubuntu


so i've installed ubuntu gnome alongside existing windows 10 install, , can't boot ubuntu @ all. can't access uefi boot menu through windows advanced restart (which used able do, did windows patch out?...).

i tried running command found on various sites saying make grub bootloader load first:

bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \efi\ubuntu\grubx64.efi

but computer boots blank screen minute or before loading windows 10. suggestions?

have tried boot-repair?

i had same problem while dual-booting. in case, had lost grub totally.

so make make bootable ubuntu pen-drive , boot it. go in live mode. , follow instructions here

drivers - No wi-fi network after install - Ask Ubuntu

i installed ubuntu 16:10 on xiaomi air 13 "uncommon device know" i'm not able see wifi connection. problem occurred right after install, since before "during try ubuntu , installation" able see , connect w/out problem. if go settings -> network i'm not able turn on wifi "it switch off turn on". nothing in software , update -> more driver. what should ? :c edit:i able fix metod here wi-fi drivers laptop xiaomi air 13 but can't find programm/app on ubuntu software c. "like geany". problem somehow related fix found ?
