no launchers after update ubuntu 16.04 - Ask Ubuntu


after update top panel showing time , launchers on left side don't appear. otherwise desktop used windows. if log in guest account works well, it's main account. tried couple if things ifound here in forum, nothing worked. appreciate easy solution. thanks

i had similar problem after updating 16.04, (already 16.04) had "password loop" problem on startup, it's discussed here. in both cases cause graphic adapter driver (newer versions of xorg, lightdm or whatever after update/upgrade conflicted it). reinstalling/updating nautilus, xorg etc. didn't complete uninstall of graphic driver did job. in case nvidia typed command line sudo apt-get purge nvidia*, restarted. of course started crapy resolution , required reinstall driver worked , works far.

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
