boot - Ubuntu never finishing suspend, manually turned off power, next restart will not finish, what should I do? - Ask Ubuntu

i tried put ubuntu 16.04 suspend mode, never finish it.

then manually turned off power. next, turned on power, booting stalls @ following displayed:

rootnew: clean, 705452/12829104 files, 7777458/51195904 blocks

where rootnew partition root '/'

what best should out of panic state, , resume working condition?

thanks in advance!

i recovered, booting recovery mode, , using fsck recover menu clean file system.

it's indeed due corrupted boot file system, fsck there found corruption, , cleaned it, possible resume normal reboot.
