wireless - kubuntu 16.04 wifi scanner? - Ask Ubuntu


just took home old lenovo "ideapad" kubuntu 16.04 installed, , cannot connect wifi router.

  1. is there scanner available? connection editor not looking routers in range.

  2. when type in ssid , wpa-2 password home router, error follows: connection.gateway-timeout-invalid can not set property (and talks value of type 'guint' out of range.
