16.10 - Mouse cursor stuck in top left of screen but can still move and interact with invisible mouse - Ask Ubuntu


i installed ubuntu 16.10 on desktop , have usb deathadder. problem can't see cursor because appears in top left of screen. mouse still moves cursor graphic doesn't follow

i able fix installing nvidia-370 drivers. try following steps:

  1. press ctrl+alt+f1 @ login screen. drop down console can login user account.

  2. run sudo service lightdm stop

  3. use following commands download , install nvidia-370. make sure connected internet: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install nvidia-370 nvidia-settings

  4. disable nouveau driver. step may unnecessary did anyway. edit file /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf , add blacklist nouveau @ bottom. save , exit.

  5. run command sudo update-initramfs -u

  6. restart sudo reboot

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
