freeze - Ubuntu freezing with dirtycow - Ask Ubuntu


i checked ubuntu pc dirtycow vulnerability, using following code downloaded here. compiled , run code , run.when execute code using cc .

$ gcc cowroot.c -o cowroot -pthread $./cowroot

it's got root access, after few sec freeze ubuntu.i want know how freeze happening
