16.04 - Update 14.04LTS to 16.04LTS bricked - Ask Ubuntu


i have dell optiplex 9020 running ubuntu 14.04lts. ubuntu complained out of date , no longer providing security updates. of course, did not offer way upgrade, looking on stackexchange, found following advice:

can smoothly upgrade 1 lts next lts release?

sudo apt-get do-release-upgrade

now machine locks after booting. can't see in log. there text cursor. alt-f* not work shell.

i can press power button, , shows ubuntu logo before shutting down in controlled manner. linux running.

any ideas how recover system? assuming should type options in grub.

booting linux 3.16.0-77-generic (recovery mode)

recovery mode shows:

started user manage uid 112 started automatic usb/bluetooth printer setup... failed start network manager wait online

at point ctrl-alt-del not work, pressing power button continue through sequence , shut down.

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
