How should I add Korean Keyboard on Ubuntu 16.04? - Ask Ubuntu

i wondering how add korean keyboard ubuntu 16.04 lts.

i tried install ibus, after having installed korean language, chose "ibus" keyboard input method system in same "language support" window. however, did not work.

it great if me.

thank you.

ibus no longer default im framework in ubuntu typing korean; fcitx is. hence fcitx-hangul package installed when installed korean language, not ibus-hangul.

either can switch fcitx in language support, or if want use ibus can install ibus-hangul manually.

then next time log in should find hangul in text entry.
