printing - can not print, CUPS Service Stopped - Ask Ubuntu


i have tried add printer (ubuntu 12.04) , when clicking printer icon, dialog box yet "add printer" grayed out can not click it.did research went terminal typed in "sudo system-config-printer" got me new dialog box, tried "trubleshoot' , came "cups service stopped

the cups print spooler not appear running,. correct this, choose system->administration->services main menu , “cups” service." tried, looked find above yet got nowhere.never thought printing difficult. have idea why can't add 1 printer, or attempt?

drivers - No wi-fi network after install - Ask Ubuntu

i installed ubuntu 16:10 on xiaomi air 13 "uncommon device know" i'm not able see wifi connection. problem occurred right after install, since before "during try ubuntu , installation" able see , connect w/out problem. if go settings -> network i'm not able turn on wifi "it switch off turn on". nothing in software , update -> more driver. what should ? :c edit:i able fix metod here wi-fi drivers laptop xiaomi air 13 but can't find programm/app on ubuntu software c. "like geany". problem somehow related fix found ?
