What is "This location cannot be displayed." telling me with regard to portable USB drive? - Ask Ubuntu


i have western digital passport ultra 2gb drive. plugged in , got popup dialog said:

this location not displayed. sorry, not display contents of "36d2920fd292d410": error when getting information file 'media/user/36d2920fd292d410/bin': input/output error

but error went away after repeatedly clicking drive icon in files application , re-inserting usb cable time or two. have no idea changed things. able copy home directory drive. took long time , when came in morning computer had shut down reason.

now error message again , isn't going away. how handle error message?

edit: tried drive in windows 10 computer , gives error saying file or directory unreadable. going reformat in windows.

drivers - No wi-fi network after install - Ask Ubuntu

i installed ubuntu 16:10 on xiaomi air 13 "uncommon device know" i'm not able see wifi connection. problem occurred right after install, since before "during try ubuntu , installation" able see , connect w/out problem. if go settings -> network i'm not able turn on wifi "it switch off turn on". nothing in software , update -> more driver. what should ? :c edit:i able fix metod here wi-fi drivers laptop xiaomi air 13 but can't find programm/app on ubuntu software c. "like geany". problem somehow related fix found ?
