windows - Dual booting error - Ask Ubuntu


i following these instructions , ran problem.

i made partition (screenshot) when ran windows 7 installer , tried install in partition said disk0 partition 3 ( 1 made free space windows installation ) "windows cannot installed selected disk. selected disk of gpt partition style" , solutions found clean disk, , since don't want lose ubuntu don't want that.

please help

assuming don't have 64 bit windows installation media or uefi-based system, recommend going through entire content of site including comments. claims successful conversion gpt mbr without data loss haven't checked myself, proceed caution. use last resort.

but if have 64-bit installation media , uefi-based system, should able change bios settings boot gpt too. post has lots of information on how install windows 7 64 bit in uefi-based system. luck.

Windows XP installation, no previous version of Windows NT - Super User
