Colors in terminator - Ask Ubuntu


i'm using terminator xubuntu 16.04. unfortunately terminal text not highlight anything, when used terminator on linux mint username@computer: highlighted in different colors , weight. plain text.

this question has been answered here how colored bash?

this has nothing terminator

the easy way have colour "back" shell uncomment 1 line in .bashrc

open~/.bashrc in text editor , uncomment line:

\#force_color_prompt=yes

to be:

force_color_prompt=yes

save execute source~/.bashrc
