i followed suggestion in comments "contact developer". responded have no control on matter. since money being charged on this, there should ubuntu contact resolve it. otherwise, should place warning: "no refund if purchase fails install".
unfortunately don't have control on issues in software centre, they've been packaged , licensed away. looks got confused issues 157 , 158, you'd need communicate them directly fix it/get refund.
edit: able paypal refund email address given in answer (pay-support@canonical.com). there 4 or 5 day delay until heard back, patient.
can refund software center purchase?
yes, probably. please send copy of receipt , reason requesting refund pay-support@canonical.com. please detailed; want know problems can fix them , provide higher-quality products , services.
a refund tends spark action maintainer.
also have @ my purchase/install failed. how can more detail error?:
getting details after error happened
if error occurred once or otherwise cannot make happen again, best way data on happened:
- run software center.
- attempt install failing package in software center. write down each action take during process, there enough information duplicate steps exactly.
as install fails, quit software center.
create bug or support request description of trying do, details of each step took, expected happen, , happened instead.
attach ~/.cache/software-center/software-center.log bug report or support request.
attach copy of receipt(s) or purchase history bug or support request.
