networking - Ubuntu 16.04 Desktop on Gigabyte GA-C847N board - no Ethernet detected - Ask Ubuntu


i running fresh install of 16.04 desktop 64-bit on gigabyte ga-c847n motherboard , realtek dual-ethernet card not detected @ all.

running sudo lshw -c network shows wireless interface (an edmax usb wifi card installed online) nothing else.

i have tried manually installing drivers sudo apt-get install r8168-dkms no success.

is there else can try see if ethernet card working or if might fried?

yes, both ports enabled in bios - using legacy , uefi mode.

there problem installing ubuntu 64 bit on gigabyte motherboards. usb 2.0 , ethernet won't work. try install usb 3.0 port. worked me. if not, go bios , change uimmo configuraton.

this problem fixed on thread. works (all?) gigabyte motherboards:

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
