64 bit - Would Dual boot with Ubuntu 16.04.01 LTS 64 bit and 32 bit clash? - Ask Ubuntu

i'm new world of ubuntu , linux , have ubuntu 16.04.01 lts 64 bit on machine plan upgrade ram later on.

now found out several apps , games require multiple xxx:i386 libraries. tried follow down rabbit hole of dependencies point system tried remove amd64 libs.

to avoid damaging 64 bit system, possible install 32 bit version of ubuntu alongside 64 bit version or cause kind of clash between 2 systems?

you can boot multitude of linux oses long give them each own / partition , use grub2

in case of ubuntu 64 , 32-bit keep /home partition in common long use different users in unlikely case applications running on both systems use different configuration files. (so not os problem, applications might be...)

e.g. admin64 & user64 , admin32 & user32

that way can still access user files of other users transparently, whereas config files kept separate.
