Can Snappy Ubuntu be installed on VirtualBox on Windows Host? - Ask Ubuntu


i running virtualbox on windows host. test out snappy ubuntu on virtualbox first. can done? if yes, how?

definitely! assuming want amd64, download ubuntu core image (release candidate here), , uncompress raw image. convert vdi virtualbox. in ubuntu (i assume command available in windows):

$ vboxmanage convertdd ubuntu-core-16-amd64-rc.img ubuntu-core-16-amd64-rc.vdi --format vdi

now create new machine, select vdi hard drive image, , boot.

drivers - No wi-fi network after install - Ask Ubuntu

i installed ubuntu 16:10 on xiaomi air 13 "uncommon device know" i'm not able see wifi connection. problem occurred right after install, since before "during try ubuntu , installation" able see , connect w/out problem. if go settings -> network i'm not able turn on wifi "it switch off turn on". nothing in software , update -> more driver. what should ? :c edit:i able fix metod here wi-fi drivers laptop xiaomi air 13 but can't find programm/app on ubuntu software c. "like geany". problem somehow related fix found ?
