command line - Mendeley Desktop only runs with sudo - Ask Ubuntu


this question has answer here:

i have installed mendeley desktop (https://www.mendeley.com/download-mendeley-desktop/ubuntu/instructions/) in computer. turns out can run program through terminal, sudo mendeleydesktop . if try run dock, or through terminal without sudo, doesn't run. stars briefly (0.5 sec) closes.

when try run in last way, next message shown in terminal:

i not think possible. program must have superuser privileges. because of way program designed must use sudo run it.

the documentation incorrect on version 16.x of ubuntu , software updated suit needs.

edit: belive last line of code saying:

qobject::disconnect: unexpected null parameter

is password being null (or not present)

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
