Lubuntu 16.04,: Why can't I open hotmail without adding additional DNS server? - Ask Ubuntu


after upgraded lubuntu 14.04 16.04 have had problems using hotmail account. has worked sometimes, impossible connect. browser reports 'server not found'.

i googled extensively , found whole load of issues relating firefox - resolved clearing cookies, changing dns , ipv6 config etc, etc...

after diabling dns prefetch , ipv6 in firefox configuration, hotmail started working immediately. hooray ! pack in again after few days.

i gave on firefox , installed chrome. no change ! tried machine lubuntu 16.04 - same, cannot open hotmail.

conclusion: nothing browser. lubuntu 16.04 giving problem.

finally found article suggested adding 8.8.8.8 additional dns server in preferences | network connections | wifi | ipv4 settings. fixed problem !

what did , why did need ?

why did hotmail work sporadically @ beginning, , again after change in firefox settings ?

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
