system installation - How can I install Ubuntu without removing Windows? - Ask Ubuntu


i need pre-installed version of windows 7 (or other version of windows), how install ubuntu without erasing it?

the instructions below ubuntu 11.10. other versions similar might have different appearance or order. must make sure windows correctly shutdown (no hibernation, no suspend, no fast boot) , ntfs drive healthy.

  1. boot ubuntu cd or usb stick. when prompted, choose "install ubuntu".

  2. ensure meet installation prerequisites. ideally, connect internet @ time well.

  3. if have wireless network hardware , there available network, can (optionally) connect @ time.

  4. be choose "install ubuntu alongside windows" (or "other operating systems" or other similar wording, depending on system configuration). important step ensure ubuntu , windows both available after installation.

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
