dual boot - Install windows software on Ubuntu 16.04lts - Ask Ubuntu

i'm newbie user. installed ubuntu 16.04 lts on afternoon.

i'd know if it's possible install, on ubuntu 16.04lts, software had suited windows. --> app exist can make job?

my pc: - hp media center pc m7000 (year 2007) - operating system: dual boot "windows vista" & "ubuntu 16.04lts"

issue: noticed "ubuntu software" doesn't work anymore, so, if app existed couldn't download ubuntu software. how possibly cope it?

yes, software run windows applications exist, called wine. it's available in ubuntu software center or synaptic package manager.

they have rather large support windows applications, aren't compatible yet.

regarding ubuntu software center not working anymore, try

sudo apt-get update 

in terminal (open using ctrl + alt + t).
