software installation - How To Install Zoiper - Ask Ubuntu


i'm linux novice.

i'm trying figure out how install zoiper on ubuntu 14.04. downloaded , extracted downloads folder. then, followed instruction: 

sudo ./zoiper_3.3_linux_free_64bit.run

then terminal says 

sudo ./zoiper_3.3_linux_free_64bit.run

if type in terminal: 

sudo /home/xarcell/downloads/zoiper_3.3_linux_free_64bit.run

it throws warning not root?

that indeed file name. went wrong?

the file may download /tmp/zarcell0 folder, or downloads.

from download (let's in firefox) click on whole line , choose 'open containing folder'.
there, right click on zoiper download, go down , click on 'extract here'. open folder, , choose either 32 or 64bit run file. right click on file need, copy.

open file manager , go downloads. paste there.

open terminal. type in:

cd ~/downloads sudo chmod +x zoiper_3.3_linux_free_64bit.run sudo ./zoiper_3.3_linux_free_64bit.run

Windows XP installation, no previous version of Windows NT - Super User
