dns - Hostnames on VPN stop resolving after a period of time even though /etc/resolv.conf is correct - Ask Ubuntu

i use vpn connect subnet (192.168.3.0/24) , dns pushed vpn server.

it works after period of time, hostnames on 192.168.3.0/24 subnet no longer resolve.

i've checked /etc/resolv.conf , contain nameserver 192.168.3.1.

what should find more why happening? client running ubuntu 16.04.

update: when reload networking service on client, subnet resolves again.

see this question: looks problem networkmanager , dnsmasq. when try remove dnsmasq-base remove network-manager , teh desktop too. not working here. btw have upgraded form 16.04 16.10.
