Alienware 15/R3: No longer able to see the option to boot from USB stick with Alienware BIOS when pressing F2 during power-on sequence - Ask Ubuntu


i lost capability see , select option boot usb, in power-on process, when pressing f2 bios menu. seems usb not been detected bios.

my pc alienware 15/r3. used able that, , installed ubuntu 16.04 through that. have installed dual boot, windows 10 original, , ubuntu 16.04 lts.

here changes had made:

  • i turned of "secure boot", , make ssd windows 10 os
  • partition accessible ubuntu, changed "sata operation" raid-on achi.
  • i have run several times of ubuntu's boot-repair usb stick, , installed ubuntu.
  • i used gparted partition hard disk

i don't remember changing else.

as cannot boot installed ubuntu, please advise should better recover? guess might first boot windows 10 first see if still working.

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
