dual boot - Ubuntu version with lesser system requirement - Ask Ubuntu

i planning dual-boot ubuntu 16.04 using universal usb installer in machine. however, ubuntu 16.04 recommends having 3.2 ghz clock speed or better; machine has 2.4 ghz. there version of ubuntu requires minimum of 2.4 ghz? , how can download iso file?

i found on ubuntu homepage (ubuntu page) since ubuntu 11.04 need 1000 Μhz processor, 1024 mib ram, 3d acceleration capable videocard @ least 256 mb. system should googd enough.

if want install smaller try xubuntu or lubuntu instead need 512 mib of system memory (ram).

personally use ubuntu 16.04 on old dell notebook windows7 without problems.

my system: old dell, intel core i7 cpu q720 @ 1.60 ghz, grafic: amd rv730 , 4 gb ram
