apache2 - How to completely remove LAMP in Ubuntu 16.04 to be ready for a fresh installation - Ask Ubuntu

i installed lamp:

apache2 libapache2-mod-php7.0 php7.0 php7.0-mysql mysql-server

and phpmyadmin.

unfortunately, did not put password in when questioned so. cannot log mysql. think there policy forbidds root access without password.

that why wanted remove packages , configuration , fresh install of lamp asked set password again.

i used purge , whereis , dpkg -l mysql* | grep ii | awk '{print $2}' make sure deinstalled files (i did apache2) on re-installing dialog password not come up.

how find , delete files lamp , phpmyadmin able install newly scratch?
