Screen tint/filter software? - Ask Ubuntu


i'm trying find kind of software allows change tint of screen. i've seen redshift , f.lux, they're not i'm looking - both of them shift time of day , offer red colouration, whereas i'm looking holds colour permanently , has wide variety of colours.

a windows example of i'm looking screenruler, claroread software bundle.

is there that exists linux?

installed ubuntu mate 16.04 lts on decade-old desktop. lspci -k shows: 01:00.0 vga compatible controller: nvidia corporation nv18 [geforce4 mx 4000] (rev c1) subsystem: xfx pine group inc. nv18 [geforce4 mx 4000] kernel driver in use: nouveau kernel modules: nvidiafb, nouveau i wonder nvidia-* driver package need install. thought should nvidia-96 , far checked, there no nvidia-96 package available.
