16.04 - How to receive files via Bluetooth - Ask Ubuntu

i'm running ubuntu 16, , if pair computer android phone via bluetooth, , send file computer, ubuntu shows prompt "incoming file xxxxxxxx, accept/reject?" if accept it, appears download fine, , says file went ~/downloads folder, , provides link. however, folder remains empty. searching exact filename says transferred finds nothing on computer. these files going?

i had trouble finding received file. changed settings received files should stored in specific directory (e.g. ~/downloads/bluetooth incoming"). ubuntu prompt accept/reject incoming file. after click on accept button shows progress on bluetooth manager receiving file not store received file on specified directory. turns out stores received files in ~/.cache/obexd/ directory
