unity - Desktop, icons, and x pointer after upgrading from 14.04 LTS to 16.04 LTS - Ask Ubuntu


having issue macpro 2008 after tried upgrading 14.04 lts 16.04 lts.

the initial thing noticed have having issue mounting lvm volumes, commented out in /etc/fstab

i used graphical login screen before upgrade, terminal when boots up. after login if run startx i'm presented looks unity or gnome, displays desktop had before, , black x mouse pointer. i'm able right click , open terminal there, , can select files on desktop, can't bring launcher , there no task bar.

i'd working can take @ lvm issues, idea of how fix this?

update: i've found if run compiz title bar on windows back, , i'm able drag around, warning warn: no default decoration found, placement not correct.

update 2: if run unity launcher back. none of comes automatically, noticed clock missing. i've got unity running appears can open ccsm, must dependency.

update 3: got webmin, , says i'm still running ubuntu 14.04.2, inconsistent splash login terminal reads 16.04.

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
