printing - Samsung Printer installation - Ask Ubuntu


i downloaded samsung printer file don't know how install samsunginstaller.tar.gz using gui interface please guide me.

i got work on ubuntu 16.04 cinnamon desktop. installing samsung ml-2850d attached network print server (port l1).

the universal printer driver downloaded samsung at: http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/ml-2850d/xeu

on page under "useful software" there "samsung printer software installer" pictures of user friendly, gui-based, all-in-one installation wizard, if select download ubuntu pc tar file contains bash script installation of driver no readme or explanation. share pain.

i sudo executed "install.sh" script in home directory using terminal interface. when asked, opted allow "automatically" configure firewall (no idea), , script completed successfully. discovered script not install printer. may firewall-ish, knows, put load of ppd files in /opt/samsung/printer/share/ppd/ directory names in format: samsung[whatever-model-series].ppd. pretty easy figure 1 want.

you can use cinnamon's print utility (or imagine unity or gnome, etc) add printer. added new network printer. selected lpd/lpr host or printer. under host put in lan ip address , under queue put (in case) l1.

on next screen indicated supply ppd file , browse navigated /opt/samsung/.... file appropriate name.

this worked me, , can control printer through browser http://localhost:631/printers/ .

you might wish install samsung smartpanel also. gui applet thing has printer controls , link order supplies , such.

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
