ubuntu 16 04 device descriptor read/64 error 110 login:

after upgrade 16.04, when starting up. dual boot system , win 8 starts fine cannot past on ubuntu. @ beginning of start message failed load kernel modules.

i'm new ubuntu. how can fix it?

you have 1 of 2 scenarios here.

  1. either have broken kernel module that's trying load @ boot time
  2. you have secure boot enabled in bios , you've added kernel module (via dkms, or otherwise)

it's easiest fix #2 first. try turning off secure boot in bios , see if fixes problem.

ps: remember in windows/ubuntu dual-boot system, you'll want turn off fast start in power control panel, , turn off hibernation powercfg /h off in elevated command prompt window.

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
