Problems remain starting VMware Workstation 11 on Ubuntu 16.04 after upgrade from 14.04 - Ask Ubuntu


a similar problem noted @ problems starting vmware workstation 11 on ubuntu 16.04 after upgrade 14.04. briefly, vmware workstation 11 not launch after ubuntu upgrade. uninstalling , re-installing has no effect.

the post suggested 2 solutions, 1 "temporary" , other "permanent."

the remaining problems, profound, are: (a) in neither case vmware launch upon clicking icon, case before ubuntu upgrade. (b) neither solution persists after closing terminal shell. instead, 1 must code poster cites, re-enter in terminal, , launch vmware terminal.

any thoughts getting vmware install , run on ubuntu 16.04 other kludge gratefully received.

i should note ubuntu 16.04 not supported host operating system vmware workstation 11, according vmware online documentation. so, may more minor bug, , kludge or vmware upgrade (to workstation 12) may that's available.

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
