No sound after fresh installation of Xubuntu 16.04 (Dual Boot with Windows XP) - Ask Ubuntu

i've tried lot of different approaches none of them successfull, installed xubuntu 16.04 in pc (desktop), in dual boot windows xp , speakers not working @ all. please me? ):

edit: sorry, yes, speakers work fine in windows, , under "output devices" of pavucontrol there "hdmi / displayport (unplugged)" option. don't remember approaches did try, i'm sure sound not muted (? :)

• in pavucontrol configuration tab, check "profile" not set hdmi analog. in output device tab, test changing port "headphone" or "speaker"
• run alsamixer in terminal (maximize window) , using left/right arrow keys scroll thru faders, raise volumes (up/down arrow key) , unmute muted faders m key (muted fader have mm label) ,
  test changing state of 2 selectors in extrem right side (using up/down arrow keys): "automute" "loopback" :
  usually,"automute" enabled , "loopback" disabled

(on soundcard , no sound if loopback enabled)
