soundcard - Sound card not detected (16.04) - Ask Ubuntu


running ubuntu 16.04 on dell xps 13

i've installed os , dual booting windows 10. i'm brand new linux , wanted give ubuntu try can't audio play, works fine in windows. sound card isn't being recognized, aplay -l returns no soundcards found. i've tried reinstalling alsa , pulseaudio that's done nothing. lspci -v returns:

as i'm brand new linux , wanted ease myself in gently turning headache. appreciated.

this bug may same problem having, https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1551880, can try upgrading kernel module. can upgrade high newest kernel going http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.8/ put 3 files architecture in separate folder , open folder in terminal window , type sudo dpkg -i *.deb, reboot , see if sound card recognized. can research , find module sound car build , install current kernel. little more complicated have build module, insmod , modprobe.

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
